Business Innovation Marbella 2024 (BIM2024) Closes Successfully and Reinforces Marbella’s Leadership in Technology and Entrepreneurship
Marbella has established itself as an international benchmark in technology, entrepreneurship and innovation with the celebration of Business Innovation Marbella 2024 (BIM2024), a free and accessible event for everyone, promoted by the Marbella City Council. After two days of intense activities, BIM2024 has demonstrated how a city can lead technological and economic change at the service of its community.
Local and International Talent on Stage
BIM2024 stood out for bringing together prominent business leaders, entrepreneurs, startups and renowned figures, consolidating an inclusive and transformative offer. A key moment was the Pitch Contest, where local and international startups competed before a jury of experts. The contest was won by the startup Calia, which stood out with disruptive projects in areas such as artificial intelligence and health technology.
Commitment to Education and Inclusion
The event also included the active participation of students from the Alhaurín el Grande Employment and Training program and Atalaya International College, who participated in workshops and presentations. This approach underlines BIM2024’s commitment to education and inclusion, promoting the training of new generations in the technological field.
Women’s Leadership and Opportunity Generation
BIM2024 took a decisive step towards equity, highlighting the participation of figures such as Rocío Vidal and Noemí Carbonero, who inspired the attendees with their trajectories. The event was consolidated as a space for female empowerment in technology sectors traditionally led by men, generating new opportunities for women in the industry.
A Complete Agenda: Theory, Practice and Networking
The BIM2024 program included a total of 16 keynotes, 11 hands-on workshops and various networking activities at the Palacio de Congresos and Paseo Marítimo in Marbella. Attendees had the opportunity to explore topics such as the development of video games with artificial intelligence and the use of chatbots to improve the customer experience.
Innovation Within Everyone’s Reach
The free nature of the event, guaranteed by a budgetary commitment of the City Council, allowed citizens of all profiles to have access to cutting-edge tools and knowledge. This democratization of knowledge reinforces the vision of Marbella as a city of opportunities for all.
A Promising Future for Marbella
BIM2024 also stood out for initiatives such as The Yesman Show podcast, which addressed the connection between mental health and business innovation, and the focus on intergenerational collaboration. This event is positioned as a model for other municipalities seeking to diversify their economy and foster local and international talent.
