Marbella, Spain – The Business Innovation Marbella 2024 (BIM2024) enthusiastically received a visit from the Employment and Training program of the Local Development Area of the Alhaurín el Grande Town Hall, led by web trainer José-Lorenzo Sánchez-Garnica. A group of 15 students, mostly women, actively participated in the two-day event, attending workshops, presentations and demonstrating a strong commitment to innovation and learning.
Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the Project Corner
Among their achievements, two students from the program had the opportunity to present their innovative entrepreneurship projects on the stage of the Project Corner, a space dedicated to the visibility of disruptive ideas. Their presentations, full of creativity and vision of the future, captured the attention of the attendees and reflected the emerging talent of the region.
“The participation of the Alhaurín el Grande group and especially of these young entrepreneurs in the Project Corner demonstrates that innovation has no borders or geographical limits. Their involvement is proof of the impact we want to achieve with BIM2024: to inspire, empower and connect all corners of our region,” said the organizers.
Commitment to Training and Inclusion
During the event, students participated in practical workshops and inspiring presentations, showing their interest in new technologies and their application in the workplace. The majority representation of women in the group also reinforces BIM2024’s commitment to inclusion and the increasingly relevant role of women in the technology and innovation sectors.
